Varela HS to conduct 'guard' tryouts

Felix Varela Senior High School, located in the Hammocks and scheduled to open in August, will conduct tryouts for color guard and dance team on June 6-9.

The tryouts will take place from 4:45 to 7 p.m. in the dance room of Coral Reef Senior High School, 10100 SW 152 St.

All interested, prospective Varela students are invited to audition. Tryout participants must be present all four days for the clinics and final tryouts.
