By June Medicare will try to eliminate the medical supervision requirment of Nurse Anesthetist. That means a speciality that has been always the pracice of Medicine done only by doctors will be carried out now by nurses! I am so surprised of the lack of coverage of this improtant issue and danger it imposes on our people. Who would want a nurse with education and training that is about 1/4th or 1/2 that of a physician to take care of his life under surgery and Anesthesia. Would you please alert the public about this grave change and let the common sense guide us to better decisions.
